Matthew Tripp,
MD

Matthew Tripp, MD is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Harvard University and Tulane School of Medicine. 

Matthew has been a practicing Emergency Medicine specialist for the last 19 years. He began his career in medicine at age 17 as a volunteer EMT/Firefighter. He went on to become a Paramedic/Firefighter working in Los Angeles, Boston and the townships of Johannesburg, South Africa. 

He began medical school at the University of Newcastle in Australia before finishing his training at Tulane University School of Medicine  in New Orleans. He went on to complete his Emergency Medicine residency at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia where he was the Chief Resident in 2007.

He currently works full time at Natividad Medical Center in Salinas. 

When not at work Matthew is a father of 5, dedicated partner to Amy, avid surfer, whitewater river guide, certified flight instructor, aviation medical examiner and a commercial pilot.

Amy Prince,
RN BSN

Amy Prince, RN BSN is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of San Jose State University.

Originally from Prescott, AZ, Amy has been living and working in the Santa Cruz area for the last 10 years. An emergency medicine nurse with specialization in critical and trauma care, Amy has almost 20 years of clinical experience.

She is currently the emergency department charge nurse at Dominican Hospital here in Santa Cruz. Amy is passionately dedicated to working in and serving her local community and is excited to be bringing the aesthetic dimension of her practice to the Santa Cruz community.

When not at work, Amy is a dedicated mother of 5, loving partner to Matthew, an avid runner, mariner, and community volunteer.

Rachel Beauregard, RN

Rachel’s passion for science and her love of people led her toward the field of nursing.  

After completing her undergrad in Psychology at UC Davis, she then attended the accelerated nursing program at Johns Hopkins University and graduated with her nursing degree in 2006.  

She went on to work in pediatric oncology at UCSF, then later spent time working in preventative care and women’s health.  

In 2021 she began her journey into medical aesthetic and since has trained with some of the country’s best injectors.  

She is inspired by learning about new techniques and products to enhance her practice.

 She has a passion for medical aesthetics and absolutely loves helping her clients feel and look their best! 

Zouhair Kevin Daif, MSN FNP-BC

Zouhair Kevin Daif, MSN FNP-BC is a Sigma Theta Tau graduate of Chamberlain University and is excited to join the One Point Six Aesthetix Team.

Kevin will be heading up our Watsonville office inside the Arcadia Hair Salon at 1491 Main Street in Watsonville.

Originally from Casablanca, Morocco. Kevin has been living in Santa Cruz County since 2003 when he joined the ER nursing team at Dominican Hospital.

After a 22-year career in bedside clinical emergency, critical care and trauma nursing, Kevin has obtained his national board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

He is currently one of the primary care providers at Salud Para La Gente in Watsonville, where he is cultivating a strong sense of service and is a patient-centered care advocate. 

Kevin is looking forward to bringing the 1.6 Aesthetix vision of naturally and subtly enhancing  and supporting your natural beauty to the Watsonville Community.

Kevin is an avid cook, Jiu Jitsu Practitioner, and traveler when not at work. And a dedicated husband and father to his son.

Cristina Gates,
PA-C

Cristina Gates, PA-C is a graduate of BYU-Idaho and University of California-Davis Physician Assistant Program. Cristina has been practicing Emergency Medicine for over 10 years. She currently works at Natividad in Salinas and prides herself in serving the community she grew up in. 

Working in the emergency setting has provided Cristina the opportunity to learn vital clinical and procedural skills. She is enthusiastic for the opportunity to use her skills and knowledge towards medical aesthetics. She aims to preserve her patient’s individual beauty in a conservative, natural approach. 

Cristina's greatest joy is her family. She loves spending time finding new adventures to explore with her husband and 3 young boys. When not working or chasing after her littles, Cristina enjoys all things food, hiking, backpacking, and being pulled around the block by the family dog Rocky.
